And you thought you were alone
One late night
I was up late on the
computer like I usually am when something started to scare me
I got an email saying
answer the phone, it was sent yesterday, but the second I opened it the phone rang
I was sure it would
wake up my family but the only sound was the annoying chirping of the phone
I had seen enough scary
movies to know this wasnt good so I ignored it as much as I can
Thats when the doorbell
rang and the house remained as quiet as ever
I was heading towards
the window to see who it was when I got another email
This was even scarier,
the email read that I should answer the phone before midnight or the person at the door would come in
Losing confidence I
waited for the phone and, shaking, answered it
Hello?
Then the line was dead
and my computer had another message
I was seriously freaked
out
I un-plugged my computer,
this time sweating, and headed towards the window again
The computer turned
itself on again and started beeping
A blank screen appeared
with an anonymous message slowly typing
In a delusional panic
I swore I saw the keys on my keyboard being pressed
The words were written
in red, they read
You shouldnt have done
that
Then the bloody words
melted off the screen onto my desk as I realized the computer was still off
All the windows in
my house opened at once
In a mad dash for my
parents room I was horrified to find it empty with a single note on the bed
Dont answer the phone
Thats when the front
door opened matching the nightly gusts of wind coming through my windows, sending leaves across the room onto the back wall
Oblivious to the shadowing
figure standing in my door I saw the leaves on my wall spelled out something
Too bad you answered the phone
I choked as I saw the
reflection of the man at the door
Running for the other
exit I noticed I was bleeding
The words on the computer
were from blood on my hands
All the windows and
doors slammed and locked leaving me alone with a psycho, locked in a house with no phone or exit
The dead phone rang
again this time someone was there
IT WAS MY VOICE!
The familiar boy was
different however as he whispers in a hissing voice
You shouldnt have answered
the phone
A hand grabs my shoulder
I frantically spin
around staring at the figure in disbelief
I wiggled out of the
strangers grip standing face to face with a knife
He swung it at me missing
my neck by inches
I bolted out of the
locked window leaving myself scarred and bleeding
I didnt have time to
pull the shards of glass out of my hands but the blood left me fast
Light headed and dizzy
I was running out of options and the glass in my foot had me on my knees soon
My torn clothes were
drenched in blood and I needed a plan fast
The closest neighbors
were a mile away on the country road
Virtually immobilized
due to the glass I could never run that far
Thats when I tripped
on something
My parents!
They were lying on
the grass around our house along with my younger sister
I wanted to scream
in pain and fear
At this point I was
considering the inevitable death from the psycho
Thats when the door
to my house swung open
My arms and legs wouldnt
move
I wasnt sure if that
was because I was half dead or because I was so afraid
The possessed figured
held the knife over my near-unconscious body
AND THEN I WOKE UP
But when I woke up
there was a note on my pillow
Written in blood
Dont answer the phone
THE END!!
